We have a few tips for you to detect breast cancer in its early stages.

Breast cancer is something that can be present in women as young as in 20s. If you are between the ages of 20 to 30, have a clinical breast examination done every three years.  Additionally, start being aware of your body and doing self-examinations to detect breast cancer early. If you are unaware of how to do this, or have questions about the clinical exam, stop by for a consultation.

With age the risk of breast cancer increases. After 40, ensure you have the clinical breast examination done annually. Also, start doing a screening mammography annually. Women with a higher risk of getting breast cancer should also get clinical breast examination done annually. This could be because of a family history of breast cancer, or habits like smoking.
